Want to stay the night? The price: $25,000
If you think $500 a night is expensive for a hotel room, consider The Setai in South Beach, Miami, where the penthouse suite is $25,000-a-night.
“But during the less popular spring and summer months, the price is flexible, dipping as low as $15,000,” said Forbes.com.
Forbes’ survey of most expensive hotel rooms in the US also turned up the Mandarin Oriental in New York City, where the Presidential Suite decorated in French marble goes for $14,000 a night. That includes a 250-year-old parchment calligraphy book on display.
At the nearby Four Seasons Hotel in New York, Presidential Suites designed by I.M. Pei go for anywhere from $15,000 to $30,000 per night. They include a dedicated personal assistant and his-and-hers massage tables. Treatments, however, are extra.
