Warn clients to watch their wallets in Barcelona

Monday, 15 Sep, 2010 0

Barcelona is the city where tourists are most likely to fall victim to pickpockets, according to travel review site TripAdvisor.

The Spanish city topped its pole of the world’s worst tourist destinations for pickpocketing for the second year running.

London entered the top 10 for the first time, though it should be pointed out that TripAdvisor’s Pickpocket Index is not especially scientific. It is based solely on the number of times visitors to its site use the term pickpocket in their reviews.

All 10 spots in this year’s index are European cities.
