Wayn.com goes mobile
Social networking and travel site Wayn.com is reaching out to its youthful, communications-savvy demographic with the launch of mobile phone service.
The move follows research by Nielsen Netratings that shows the site to be the seventh most popular in the UK to be accessed by mobile phone users.
Now users will be able to access their messages, get into their account and alter their profile from the comfort of their mobile phone. They will also be able to look up local services, locate people who are in the same area they are and update their status.
Director of business development at Wayn.com Matt Jerwood said: “Our name says it all. Where Are You Now? should be available anytime, anywhere to allow people to make the most of where they are now, whenever ‘now’ is, and wherever ‘where’ is.â€
