Weak euro allows ski operator to drop prices for next season
The weakening euro has allowed Balkan Holidays to offer some 2016/17 skiing and snowboarding holidays to Bulgaria at lower prices than this winter season.
The operator, which has released its 1st Edition Ski and Snowboard brochure for 2016/17, said it has been able to pass the benefit of the favourable exchange rate straight to UK customers.
The lead-in price remains the same, from £244 per person, but customers can get seven nights at the five-star Hotel Premier Luxury Mountain Resort in Bansko, Bulgaria, from £464 per person, a reduction of £40 per person compared with the same date in 2016.
Early booking discounts give savings of up to £143 per couple, while customers who have booked with Balkan Holidays for the past two seasons get a 5% loyalty discount.
Departures are from eight airports – Gatwick, Heathrow, Bristol, East Midlands, Manchester, Newcastle, and Stansted to Sofia and Luton to Bucharest.
