Website portal to the Yarra Valley
MELBOURNE – Following the recent bush fires, Yarra Valley & The Dandenongs Marketing has moved to reassure visitors that most of the Yarra Valley is open for ‘business as usual’.
The Regional Tourism Bushfire Response & Recovery Committee launched the new website www.yarravalleynow.com.au to provide an up to date snapshot of award winning wineries, restaurants, accommodation and attractions that are currently open.
Many businesses in the region have been unaffected by the bush fires and are open for business.
www.yarravalleynow.com.au provides visitors with information regarding promotional activity planned at individual properties as part of the Bushfire Recovery as well as good news, recovery stories and links to other websites.
Visitor Information Centre details and links to up-to-date travel safety sites such as Parks Victoria, Vic Roads and CFA are also featured.
The new website is also a trade site offering access to the Yarra Valley & The Dandenongs Marketing image library for the media and tourism businesses.
www.yarravalleynow.com.au is the official Bushfire Recovery Communications Portal for the region and has been established by Yarra Valley and The Dandenongs Marketing in co-operation with The Yarra Valley Winegrowers Association.
The site has been jointly funded by Tourism Victoria and the Shire of Yarra Ranges.
