Well done Qantas……………How do your customers feel now?
Australia’s claimed only true low fare airline, Tiger Airways has welcomed the Qantas profit result noting that the domestic aviation market was long overdue for competition.
“The current domestic duopoly has for too long over charged the Australian traveler.” “If airfares are consistently reduced by a measly $25 Australian consumers will save over $1 billion per year” said Tony Davis CEO of Tiger Airways.
“Tiger Airways as a true low cost carrier with a commitment to offering the real deal on low cost fares will ensure that travelers consistently obtain value for money when they fly Australian skies.”
“While Tiger Airways’ competitors believe that the Australian traveling public can be fooled by gimmicks such as ‘take a friend for $3’ Tiger Airways understands just how savvy the Australian public is.”
“The outstanding Qantas profit result has the Australian public asking ‘am I getting the real deal from Qantas?’”
“The extremely positive reaction to Tiger Airways entry into the market has shown that they think they haven’t been getting a fair go from the incumbents,” said Tony Davis.
Over the past two months Tiger has announced 8 destinations across Australia from its base at Melbourne Airport from as little as $59.95, with more destinations to be announced in the near future.
