Western & Oriental in Leading Hotels marketing pact
Luxury tour operating group Western & Oriental has forged a joint marketing agreement with the reservations arm of Leading Hotels of the World.
W&O will providing a fulfilment service to Leading Interactive Reservations’ European customer database.
The UK group will operate luxury tours, city breaks and resort holidays utilising agreements with The Leading Hotels of the World.
Both companies hope to expand sales “significantly” in the luxury leisure market. W&O will handle enquiries and fulfilment for the UK, Ireland and German speaking markets, including Austria and Switzerland. Bookings and client support will be handled by the company’s London and Frankfurt offices.
Leading Interactive Reservations president and CEO William McDonald said: “This is an important step to expand our Leading Vacations luxury travel package business in Germany, Ireland and the UK. We believe this effort will significantly increase our room sales for member properties via travel packages including air.
W&O group managing director Ian Neale said: “We believe this close relationship with Leading Interactive will produce significant sales and will create a solid partnership for the future.”
