What’s new in Kakadu?
Kakadu Tourism Pty Ltd has appointed new general managers for the Crocodile Hotel and Cooinda Waters Lodge in the Northern Territory.
Both hotels will join the Accor network from April 1.
Daniel Lukritz takes over as GM of the Crocodile Hotel. He has worked in remote and regional locations including the Kimberley, Ayers Rock, Kakadu and Norfolk Island.
For the past five years he has been responsible for implementing hospitality training programmes for Indigenous Australians.
New general manager for Cooinda Waters is Vanessa Thomson, who after almost 20 years hospitality experience with the Zimbabwe Sun Group of hotels, came to Australia and has worked in a number of outback areas across the country.
These include the remote World Heritage area of Shark Bay, Kalgoorlie and, for the past six years, Margaret River in Western Australia.
