When you have to go, use air sickness bag
SkyWest Airlines issued an apology to a passenger who used an air-sickness bag when the captain wouldn’t allow passengers to use the restroom.
The passenger said he had consumed two “really big beers.”
His problem came up on a short flight to Salt Lake City from Boise when the captain declared the restroom off-limits because a light wasn’t working.
“It was like I had no choice,” the passenger told The Salt Lake Tribune.
No other passengers noticed him using the bag, but a flight attendant asked him about it and told the captain, who called airport police. The passenger was questioned and took a taxi home to his Salt Lake suburban home.
The airline sent him a letter of apology and a flight voucher, said a SkyWest spokeswoman.
