Which is the best ski resort in the world?
The Austrian town of Kitzbuhel is considered the best ski resort in the world and the Stein Eriksen Lodge in Park City, USA was judged to be the best ski hotel in this year’s World Ski Awards.
However, in France, the top winter sports destination for British skiers, the lofty resort of Val Thorens came out top and the resort’s Koh-l Nor Hotel was rated the country’s best ski hotel.
In Italy, also one of the most popular country’s for British skiers, Val Gardena was considered the best resort and the Cristallo Hotel in Cortina the best hotel.
If you’re looking for somewhere to recommend in the United States, Deer Valley was awarded top marks while in Canada Lake Louise was considered the best.
In Andorra, Grandvalira was judged to be the better of the two ski areas and the Sport Hotel Hermitage in Soldeu the best hotel.
