Wightlink outlines major investment plans
Wightlink has unveiled plans for a £57 million investment over the next four years.
The Isle of Wight ferry operator will replace its Ryde to Portsmouth Fastcats with more eco-friendly vessels, upgrade terminal facilities at Fishbourne, Ryde Pier, Yarmouth and the mainland and increase capacity.
New vessels on the Ryde to Portsmouth Fastcast service will be introduced next summer.
The company said there will be no impact on fares.
