Wild bear rescued at California theme park
A wild black bear went walkabout at a California theme park, and promptly had to be rescued by firefighters.
It somehow managed to get itself trapped between two vehicles in a backlot at Six Flags. That led to an hours-long operation by the Los Angeles County Fire Department and California Fish and Game officers.
The bear was sedated and heavy lifting gear was needed to shift a trailer so it could be freed. The bear was later taken to a safe wilderness area by California Fish and Game personnel.
