MSC Cruises is inviting agents to take part in a draw to win a place with their partner on board MSC Orchestra, at her glittering christening ceremony. This  2-day event for the latest addition to the MSC Cruises fleet, will run May 14 – 16. Italian icon Sophia Loren will be godmother. MSC Orchestra will be christened in the port of Civitavecchia and then cruise to Genoa and back.

Those agents who sell an MSC Cruise between Friday, March 16 to Saturday April 15, 2007 will be considered for the draw. 

MSC Orchestra is in the MSC Musica class of 90,000 grt, measuring 293 metres long and 33 metres wide. She will host up to 3,013 guests (all berths) and in order to satisfy passenger demand, 80% of the outside cabins have balconies with sea views. The 22,000 sq metres of public space, offer a large choice of facilities from the Body & Soul Spa, to tennis courts, and the Covent Garden.

To showcase the cruise lines Italian roots and culinary excellence there will be 5 restaurants including the Ibiscus, Villa Borghese, La Piazzetta, Four Seasons and the Shanghai Chinese Restaurant plus 10 bars, 2 of which are open-air.

MSC Orchestra will commence her series of 7-night summer cruises of the Eastern Mediterranean departing from Venice  June 2 through to October 27, 2007. Prices for these cruises start from £658*(US$ 1,279)pp.
