Windstar Cruises appoints new president
Windstar Cruises has named a new chief.
Christopher Prelog takes the helm as President after being promoted from Chief Operating Officer.
He reports to Andrew Todd, CEO of Windstar and Xanterra Travel Collection.
Prelog has been with Windstar for almost four years and was previously Vice President of Fleet Operations.
He previously worked for Seabourn and Hilton.
Prelog replaces John Delaney who stepped down earlier this year.
"I am excited and humbled to lead this tremendously talented team at Windstar. I know this has been the most challenging year for the cruise industry," Prelog said.
As COO, Prelog has been overseeing Windstar’s $250 million Star Plus upgrade program for the Star Legend, Star Breeze and Star Pride ships.
