Windstar Cruises drops Covid-19 vaccine requirement from June
Windstar’s Covid-19 vaccine mandate will be scrapped on 1 June 2023.
It will no longer require guests to be vaccinated in order to sail.
Crew members will still be required to be vaccinated and will be tested upon their first arrival, during their first week and as needed.
“We’ve invested in and improved our health and safety processes, including upgrading the HVAC systems,” said President Christopher Prelog.
Windstar will continue to carry diagnostic tests on board for guests and remains committed to onboard cleanliness.
This includes accessible handwashing stations and sanitizer dispensers.
Though no longer mandated, the cruise line still recommends guests are up to date with vaccinations.
