Winter of content for PAL
Philippine Airlines has chalked up its biggest ever winter of sales in Australia, attributing the record season to the debut of its Boeing 777s, alongside the introduction of new wholesale programmes and preferred agreements.
Speaking during this week’s Destination Philippines Showcase for travel agents, Brett McDougall, general manager of Philippine Airlines GSA in Australia, Rakso Australia, said the airline had enjoyed a substantial boost in both its sales and revenue across May, June and July.
He said there has been double-digit growth in 2010 passenger numbers compared to 2009.
