With growing Asia Pacific demand, Sojern expanding again in Singapore
Travel industry data insights company Sojern is planning to expand significantly in Asia Pacific, boosting its workforce by 25% at its Singapore regional office.
Sojern opened in Singapore two years ago and has since grown to more than 40 employees.
Growing Asia Pacific demand has seen it triple its floorspace with a new office at Republic Plaza.
"We see a tremendous growth opportunity here for travel marketing," said Russell Young, Sojern managing director of APAC.
"Sojern has firmly established itself in Singapore, but we’re also serving hundreds of clients across Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, and other markets.
Sojern harvests big data to provide insights to major airline and hospitality brands to enable them to better target customers at the right time and on the right channels.
Sojern data published in late 2017 showed that more than 40% of all travel searches in the region take place on mobile devices, although many then complete transactions on desktop devices.
The company now employs nearly 500 across 13 global locations including its San Francisco HQ, Berlin, Dubai, Dublin, Hong Kong, Istanbul, London, Mexico City and New York.
