Wizz Air adds Covid cover to insurance policy
Wizz Air will provide passengers with Covid cover as part of its travel insurance package.
The new policy will cover Covid-related cancellations and medical related expenses when travelling overseas, including additional accommodation costs is someone falls ill with coronavirus.
Senior Corporate Communications Manager Andras Rado, said: "With our updated travel insurance package, passengers can rest assured that they are prepared and covered in case of Covid-19 disruptions to their trip."
The cover is provided by the airline’s insurance partner, Chubb.
