Wizz Air eyes expansion to Saudi Arabia
Wizz Air Holdings is exploring potential for expansion in Saudi Arabia
It signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Investment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which is supported by the Saudi National Air Connectivity Programme.
This is a Ministry of Tourism initiative to support the development of the Saudi tourism sector.
The MoU will explore airline market development opportunities in the Kingdom.
KSA is targeting tripling passenger traffic by 2030.
The parties said they will work together to enable potential operating models to boost Saudi Arabian aviation.
