Wizz Air partners with payments platform Trustly
Wizz Air has inked a strategic partnership with global payments platform Trustly
The partnership facilitated by Adyen, allows Wizz Air travellers in the UK, Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden to pay for flights directly from their bank account.
The partnership will also see Wizz Air benefit from Trustly’s fast settlement, reduced fraud, and instant refunds for travellers.
Wizz Air’s integration with Trustly via Adyen comes as open banking adoption is on the rise in Europe.
Viktor Mura, head of tax, treasury and investor relations at Wizz Air, said: “Trustly was the obvious choice to provide a low-cost, simple and secure way for our customers to pay.”
It allows us to further strengthen our low-cost value proposition to our customers.”
