WIZZ Air unveils new route from Doncaster Sheffield
WIZZ Air today has unveiled a new twice-weekly flight to Chisinau, Moldova, from Doncaster Sheffield Airport.
Starting on December 20, it will be the airline’s 14th route from Doncaster Sheffield and the only route between the north of England and Moldova.
Chisinau is the capital of the Eastern Europe’s Republic of Moldova and is known for its wineries, lively nightlife, and street cafes.
Owain Jones, managing director Wizz Air UK, said: "Moldova is one of Europe’s undiscovered gems, making it ripe for exploring. Fans of brutalist architecture, in particular, will love visiting Chisinau, where there are some great examples of grandiose buildings, and not forgetting the delicious wine for which Moldova is famous for."
