Woman arrested over death of Brit in Ayia Napa
Police in Cyprus have arrested a woman over the death of 22-year-old George Low, who died on Sunday, on the last night of his week-long holiday in Ayia Napa.
He suffered fatal neck wounds while out clubbing with friends in the early hours of Sunday morning in the popular Cyprus resort.
His friend Ben Barker, also 22, was stabbed four times in the back but his injuries were not life-threatening.
The Associated Press reports that the woman is a Greek Cypriot who was detained after being taken in for questioning.
Arrest warrants have been issued for two Turkish Cypriot men.
Mr Low, from Kent, had worked as a night club manager in the party resort for two seasons before returning to Britain to work as an estate agent.
According to the local media, police said it appeared the victims had been in a previous argument with the suspects.
