Worldchoice consultative council members elected
The first area representatives for Worldchoice’s new Members’ Consultative Council have been elected.
The eight members were elected on the basis of one vote per agency within the MCC’s Worldchoice Areas, representing up to three of the existing Worldchoice regions. The first MCC meeting took place this week.
The independent agency consortium’s chairman and managing director Colin Heal said: “I am delighted to welcome on board the representatives who will work closely with both the Worldchoice board and staff as well as members in their areas, to drive forward initiatives that will help put our agents on an even stronger footing in the marketplace.”
The eight representatives are:
Alan Couser – Strandtown Travel, Donaghadee, Northern Ireland
Tracey Dixon – Over Sands Travel, Grange over Sands, Cumbria.
David Wootton, Knighton Travel, Tamworth, Staffordshire
Denise Hodgson, Altrincham Travel, Altrincham, Cheshire
Dave Criddle, Dave Criddle Travel, Taunton, Somerset
Tony Radstone, Travel Corporation, London
John Garbutt, Thorpe Travel, Norwich, Norfolk
