World’s First agent service?
One Link 4 Travel Inc. unveiled a new corporate web site at www.onelink4travel.com.
One link 4 Travel’s internet-based platform provides a business-to-business service for the global travel and tourism industry.
The electronic link between travel suppliers and travel agents allows suppliers easy access to their available inventories and to receive prompt electronic payment for reservations. At the same time, agents receive upfront commissions as they currently do under airline bookings.
Said Bill Guerin, chairman and ceo:
“The potential benefit of our unique service for the global travel industry cannot be underestimated. Integrated global settlement for non-airline bookings has been the missing link for true ecommerce in these other sectors since the birth of the Global Distribution Systems over 30 years ago.”
He said the new web site was the first step in plans to launch an integrated travel distribution and settlement service later this year.
One Link 4 Travel, headquartered in San Francisco and London, says it has created the world’s first integrated, internet-based distribution and financial settlement service for the international travel and tourism industry.
