Worldwide Independent Travel Network appoints new CEO
Neil Armorgie has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Worldwide Independent Travel Network (W.I.N).
Mr Armorgie joins from Airmiles where he was Head of Supplier Management for two years and he will take up the position in early April. The W.I.N UK partner is Advantage Travel Centres’ and Armorgie will be based at their Head Office in Margaret Street, London.
W.I.N is an international commercial and marketing organisation with members in 12 countries and a total of over 5000 leisure and business travel outlets located around the world. Armorgie’s role as CEO will be to expand the current range of worldwide sales and marketing opportunities for the benefit of the members and partner suppliers.
Commenting on his appointment, Mr Armorgie said: “This is a very exciting opportunity for me. W.I.N has great untapped potential as the leading worldwide group of professional independent travel agents. I want to take W.I.N to the next level, providing real benefits to suppliers, agents and customers alike. We can utilise the worldwide networking opportunities to make cost savings and improve profitability for members as well as providing global reach for suppliers to market their products effectively to leading independents across the world.”
