WTM confirms technology exhibitors
World Travel Market’s travel technology “show within a show” has attracted more than 20 exhibitors.
In addition to show newcomer Expedia, companies signed up include Galileo, Comtec, Teletext, Cendant, Tourplan, Websource, Open Destinations, Ramesys, eQuality Travel Solutions, Softwire, Galaxy, Cyberembryonic, GlobeTrack, Nota Bena, TextBay, Travelink and Applied Card Technologies.
Exhibition director Fiona Jeffery said: “Repeat bookings are coming for IT companies such as CodeGen.IT, Final Quadrant and Intracome, and we are attracting new market leaders such as Expedia who are exhibiting at WTM for the first time to expand their global business reach.”
As reported, TravelMole is official travel technology media partner for WTM while Genesys has been confirmed as travel technology consultancy partner and the Travel Technology Initiative as association partner for travel technology. EyeforTravel is travel technology conference partner.
TravelMole chief executive Graham McKenzie said: “We value the oportunity to utlilise the international scale and speed of our operation for a global business forum like World Travel Market to deliver its news to the travel industry around the world.
“We feel this is yet another endorsement of TravelMole’s increasing importance in the online travel trade news environment. From a standing start we are beginning to reach a predominant position and Reed’s reinforcement of this by choosing us as the online media partner for WTM’s dedicated technology area is very welcome.”
WTM takes place at the ExCel exhibition centre in London’s Docklands on November 14-17
