Wyndham expanding in Indonesia and Vietnam
Wyndham Hotel Group is increasing its presence in Southeast Asia with five new hotel signings in Indonesia and Vietnam.
First up in Indonesia is Wyndham Dreamland Resort Bali, due to open in December 2017.
It will have 190 suites and villas, two swimming pools, dining venues, a wellness centre and yoga studio.
In March 2018, the 259-room Wyndham Opi Hotel Palembang opens on the island of Sumatra in the new OPI entertainment district and becomes the city’s first international five-star hotel.
It will offer extensive conferencing facilities including a ballroom catering for more than 2,000 guests.
Also in spring 2018, Wyndham Grand Cam Ranh, Vietnam is set to open its doors.
It is located at a Greg Norman designed 18-hole golf course and includes multiple dining venues swimming pools, spa and wellness facilities and a convention centre.
Wyndham Cam Ranh opens in the same Cam Ranh Bay development the following year with 855 guestrooms and the 1,079-key Wyndham Resort Tropicana Nha Trang is also slated for a 2019 opening.
Part of a $200 million mixed-use development, it will be the largest hospitality project of its kind in the resort city of Nha Trang.
In all the new signings add more than 3,000 rooms to the Wyndham portfolio in Southeast Asia, and the company now has more than 100 hotels in operation throughout the Asia Pacific region.
