Wyndham expands in Malaysia
Hospitality group Wyndham Hotels & Resorts opened five new hotels during the last quarter of 2025.
It also signed three more Malaysian properties.
In the past few months it unveiled Wyndham Grand i-City Shah Alam in Selangor; Wyndham Garden Suites Ipoh ICC in Perak; Howard Johnson by Wyndham Kota Kinabalu City Centre in Sabah; The Isola KLCC in Jalan Yap Kwan Seng, Kuala Lumpur; and Trigo Kuala Lumpur in Chow Kit, Kuala Lumpur.
The three new upcoming hotels are Wyndham Garden Kuantan J-City, Wyndham Grand Ipoh, and Orion Tower Kuala Lumpur, a Registry Collection Hotel.
This is Wyndham’s first for the Registry Collection brand in Malaysia.
“Malaysia is an important market within our Asia-Pacific strategy, supported by the strong and growing demand. As that growth continues, we are building our presence by partnering with the right owners in the right markets,” said Matt Holmes. VP of development for Southeast Asia and Pacific Rim.
Wyndham currently has 19 hotels open in Malaysia across eight brands, such as Ramada, Days Inn and Wyndham Grand.
