Wyndham expands loyalty program partnership with Avis Budget

Avis Budget Group and Wyndham Hotel Group have signed a new multi-year partnership making Avis Car Rental and Budget Car Rental exclusive car rental provider’s for the revamped Wyndham Rewards loyalty program.
 
Loyalty members will now earn 100 points per day on eligible Avis and Budget rentals, which is double the amount compared to the previous agreement.
 
"Wyndham Rewards is all about simplicity, generosity and rewarding those who’ve earned it," said Noah Brodsky, senior vice president of loyalty and engagement at Wyndham. 
 
"With great vehicles, thousands of locations globally and now double the points, Avis and Budget are the perfect fit for our members."
 
Until the end of 2015 Wyndham Rewards members receive discounts of up to 30% off Avis and Budget rentals, along with a bonus of between 750 and 1,000 points, depending on their status level in the program.
 
"The new Wyndham Rewards program makes it easier than ever for members to earn and redeem points for meaningful rewards and we’re thrilled that Wyndham Rewards has selected Avis Budget Group as its exclusive car rental provider," said Tom Villani, vice president, global travel and partnerships.
 
"The expanded relationship will help generate incremental rental volume while giving Wyndham Rewards members an even more rewarding rental experience," added Villani.
