Wyndham Rewards adds new loyalty partners
Wyndham’s loyalty program is adding new partners and offering a quicker route to earn free nights.
The Wyndham Rewards revamp kicks off on April 1 with free nights up for grabs at thousands of hotels from just 7,500 points, which is half their original redemption cost.
It says approximately one-third of the entire hotel portfolio will move to the lower 7,500 point redemption tier.
That equates to about 3,000 hotels.
From April 3, La Quinta hotels will officially become a part of Wyndham Rewards, adding an extra 900 hotels.
Free nights start at 7,500 points at selected La Quinta hotels and members can earn 10 points per dollar spent or a minimum of 1,000 points for a qualified stay.
Other loyalty partnerships unveiled include points accrual with DoorDash food deliveries, and the ability to redeem points at Marathon gas stations.
Members can also earn and redeem points when making bookings at tours and activities platform Viator.
"With these changes, we’re making thousands of hotels available for half the points and what’s more, drastically expanding the ways in which they can earn and redeem those points," said said Eliot Hamlisch, SVP of global loyalty and partnerships at Wyndham.
