Wynn Las Vegas Boasts A Five-Star Casino, A Ferrari – Maserati Dealership….
Wynn Las Vegas Resort and Country Club is a five-star casino resort on the southern suburb of the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. It is the flagship property of Wynn Resorts Limited and is named after the casino developer, Steve Wynn.
Wynn Las Vegas is located at Boulevard South and Sands Avenue directly across The Strip from the Fashion Show Mall and covers 215 acres of land. It is the tallest building in the Las Vegas area towering 48 stories over the strip. It is also the largest privately-funded construction project in the nation costing US$ 2.7 billion.
Wynn Las Vegas, designed by Jon Jerde, opened on April 28, 2005. When it opened, the Wynn had many notable features. Some of the notable features are worth mentioning. It has the first casino to combine the room key and the casino frequent-player card in one card and the first to include a Ferrari-Maserati dealership.
It was also among the first casinos to install RFID tags inside chips to detect better counterfeiting. It is the world?s largest distribution of HDTV into hotel rooms using high-speed Cat-6 Ethernet cables. The historic Desert Inn Golf Course was rebuilt while the hotel was being constructed. The course is now known as Wynn Golf and Country Club.
At the Wynn Las Vegas, the dealership is placed near the valet parking of the resort so that people can have a look at the model cars on display. Here, used cars are also sold along with parts and other car-wares. It houses the first ever authorised Ferrari Store in North America offering apparel, racing merchandise, electronics and a home gym – all branded with the Ferrari logo. The hotel also has an art gallery named Wynn Art Gallery.
The Wynn Las Vegas is constructed in such a way that visitors while entering the hotel can have a view of the large, curtain waterfall behind a mountain that faces the strip. The waterfall falls into a 3-acre lake. Both the waterfall and the lake have images displayed on them to produce a show called the “Lake of Dreams”. When the show is inactive, the waterfall creates an animated colour sequence on the screen. Visitors can go to the platform at the Parasol Down bar to view the show with full-volume audio.
The hotel has two nightclubs ? the Tryst and the Blush. Some of the hotel?s remarkable restaurants are The Buffet, the Tableau, the Okada and the Alex. The Wynn Golf and Country Club is the only golf course on the Las Vegas Strip. The Tower Suites at the Wynn Las Vegas consists of rooms and suites in the separated southernmost section of the main tower. These rooms and suites have a private driveway and entrance, a separate check-in area and elevators and a private pool area.
In addition to the Fairway Villas, Wynn Las Vegas has six Villa Suites, which are not available to the public. One of these villas is the private residence of Steve Wynn.
The Wynn Las Vegas has 2716 guest rooms including the Tower Suites and the Villa Suites. The hotel is located on the Vegas Strip on 217 acres with a 111,000 sq. ft. Casino, 74,700 square feet of retail space, over 223,000 sq ft of convention space, distinctive dining experiences, a 2,087-seat showroom, an exclusive on-site 18 hole championship golf course and country club.
