Nudity will be out at the Hedomism III resort in Jamaica as it sheds its erotic theme to close and reopen Oct. 14 as Super Fun Resort & Spa.
The re-branded, 155-room property in Runaway Bay will be aimed at “wallet-conscious adult travelers looking for an all-inclusive vacation,” said Paul Pennicook, president of International Lifestyles. The family-oriented resort will be minus some of the high priced Hedonism amenities.
Airport transfers, motorized water sports and premium-brand liquors won’t be included in
Super Fun’s rates. Local wines and liquors will continue to be included, as will all meals, accommodations, and entertainment.
The resort will offer a small clothing-optional beach but no nude pool. Hedonism was also known for its nude beach.
The target market for the Super Fun Resort will be couples in their 20s, 30s and 40s, looking for a lively, fun vacation, Pennicook said. He added:
"These travelers want plenty of bang for their buck, but the vibe will be completely different from that at Hedonism II."
