XL Leisure’s luxury business is rescued
The business of XL Leisure-owned Aspire Holidays has been purchased by private jet holiday company Jeffersons for an undisclosed sum.
The luxury tailor-made specialist will contine to trade under the same name but will move to Jeffersons’ offices in West London.
Jeffersons managing director Robin Fawcett said: “We see Aspire having an excellent fit with the Jeffersons brand: both companies are specialists in the luxury tailor-made holiday sector and provide customers with unforgettable holiday experiences.â€
Aspire’s destinations include Europe, the Middle East, South-East Asia, the Caribbean, Africa, and the Indian Ocean.
In 2006, Aspire had a turnover of more than o£10m.
