A teenage air passenger received an iHiding this week after refusing to turn off his phone before take-off.
The young traveller with SouthWest Airlines got into a fracas with neighbour Russell Miller who objected to him continuing to fiddle with his Iphone after cabin crew had requested all phones be switched off.
After a heated exchange of words, Miller hit the boy. He did not need medical attention but Miller was taken into custody when the Las Vegas bound flight landed.
If convicted of battery, Miller, a resident of Boise, possibly faces a sentence of six months in jail and a fine of up to $1000.
