You too can be a YouTube video star
The Accommodation Association of Australia has opened entries for its annual accommodation awards – the Accommodation Achievers’ Awards 2012.
This year submissions will be via a three-minute video of the entrant at their workplace, which must be uploaded to YouTube.
Videos should show the entrant undertaking their daily duties and describing the best part of their role, the skills they have acquired and generally demonstrating passion for the industry they work in.
"Creativity is encouraged in the video making process," said the association’s chief executive, Richard Munro.
A panel of senior industry stakeholders will be recruited for the judging process.
Entries close on September 19.
