The renewed Celebrity Solstice departed Singapore on 2nd March 2026, with eight new experiences - including four brand-new spaces - and will set sail in Alaska this summer

  Celebrity Cruises’ revitalised Celebrity Solstice set sail from Singapore on 2nd March, unveiling eight new experiences, including four spaces that are new to Celebrity – Trattoria Rossa, Sunset Park, The Parlor, and Boulevard Lounge – marking the beginning of the cruise line’s major revitalisation of its Solstice Series ships. Bow-to-stern enhancements also include refreshed accommodations – with updates to all existing staterooms, plus an additional 54 staterooms and four new stateroom categories to bring the ship to a total of 1,479 cabins. The 2026 itineraries for the revitalised Celebrity Solsticespan Asia, Australia, and Alaska, ahead of a landmark 110-night Grand Voyage beginning on 13th September 2026.   “Celebrity Solstice launched our Solstice Series ships and defined a generation of Celebrity Cruises travel.   Today Celebrity Cruises took delivery and welcomed its newest ship – Celebrity Xcel – and announced the name of its sixth Edge Series ship – Celebrity Xcite – as the ship’s first piece of steel was cut and construction commenced at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire. As it took delivery of new ship Xcel, Celebrity Cruises has revealed the name of its upcoming new vessel which has just commenced construction. Xcel's sister ship will be named Xcite, and just had its steel cutting ceremony, marking the official start of construction. Excite will be the sixth Edge-class ship and is expected to launch in 2028. Celebrity Edge is officially back down under. It has kicked off a third Australia season visiting destinations in New Zealand, and the South Pacific, following a 19-night transpacific sailing from Honolulu. The ship will offer sailings through April 2026. It has 17 sailings departing from Sydney and Auckland with itineraries ranging from short four-night to 14-night journeys. Celebrity Cruises has unveiled what cruisers can expect on Europe’s rivers for 2027. River ships Celebrity Compass and Celebrity Seeker will offer cruises on the Rhine and Danube rivers.
