easyJet has today announced the launch of a new summer route from Liverpool John Lennon Airport, with flights to Seville now on sale for summer 2026.
The airline’s new service to the Andalusian capital will operate twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays, starting on 2nd August providing customers even more choice of sunshine destinations direct from Liverpool.
The addition of Seville, a city known for its striking Moorish architecture, atmospheric old town, world‑famous tapas bars and vibrant cultural scene offers customers the perfect option for a short break or a longer summer escape.
Kevin Doyle, easyJet UK Country Manager, said:
“We’re excited to be adding Seville to our growing network from Liverpool for next summer. Customers now have the opportunity to explore this vibrant Spanish city, and we look forward to welcoming them onboard this new route from Liverpool.”
“Our short-haul network from Liverpool offers unrivalled choice for those planning their holidays for next year, to book and fly with ease.”
Paul Winfield, LJLA’s Aviation Director, commented:
“We are delighted to welcome another fantastic easyJet route to Liverpool John Lennon Airport. Seville is a stunning cultural destination with strong demand for both outbound leisure travel and inbound tourism.
“easyJet’s continued growth here at the north west’s Faster, Easier, Friendlier Airport demonstrates the strength of the Liverpool market, and we anticipate this new Seville service will be very popular with travellers across the region.”
Over the past 12 months, easyJet has continued to expand its Liverpool network, adding a number of new destinations and increasing fleet capacity at the airport.
During the summer, the airline based an additional aircraft in Liverpool — bringing the total to eight — enabling even more choice and flexibility for customers booking flights and package holidays across Europe and North Africa.
easyJet was founded 30 years ago and since then it has flown over 800 million customers to and from the UK. Today, easyJet is the largest UK airline and serves 22 UK airports offering flights and package holidays across more than 650 routes to nearly 140 destinations across Europe, North Africa and employs c.12,000 people across England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
