Peebles Barbeque, a beloved Florida institution, has been serving up delicious smoked meats since 1947. Founded by Erica Strawbridge’s grandfather, the restaurant began as a backyard operation and has grown into a popular destination for both locals and visitors worldwide. Open Thursday through Saturday, Peebles thrives during its busy weekend rush, especially on Saturdays. With original smokers still in use, the restaurant focuses on delivering a unique dining experience, allowing customers to watch their food being cooked. Erica recommends the sampler dinner for newcomers, while her personal favorite is the mouthwatering ribs.
