Time of Your Life at Sea: Dirty Dancing Comes Aboard MSC Virtuosa

  • “Dirty Dancing: In Concert” makes its UK and European cruise debut onboard MSC Virtuosa starting 10 July 2025.

MSC Cruises has teamed up with Lionsgate and GEA Live to bring one of the most iconic love stories of all time to UK waters this summer – Dirty Dancing: In Concert will make its UK and European cruise debut onboard MSC Virtuosa starting 10 July 2025.

 

Following its successful launch on MSC World America in the U.S., this will be the first time the hit live-to-film concert appears at sea in the region.

 

During the 90-minute live-to-film concert, a talented live band and spectacular singers belt out classic songs in-sync with the movie, taking the beloved Lionsgate film to another level with dazzling dancers amping up the atmosphere.

 

Guests will have the chance to catch multiple live-to-film concerts throughout their cruise, including matinee showings on sea days.

Dirty Dancing: In Concert joins an extensive line-up of entertainment available on MSC Virtuosa, which features a full schedule of West-End style performances, live music, interactive game shows and family-friendly events each evening.

Dirty Dancing: In Concert headlines a spectacular entertainment line-up on MSC Virtuosa in 2025, including:

 

  • Rugby Champions Cruise – Sail from Southampton with rugby legends from England’s 2003 World Cup-winning team. Enjoy exclusive meet-and-greets, Q&As, and rugby-themed events on select sailings this summer.
  • Hall of Fame – A dynamic live concert celebrating pop music legends, created by the renowned team at Only Child Productions (known for work with Kylie Minogue, Netflix and Vogue).
  • Street Theatre – Surprise pop-up performances by world-class entertainers across the ship, from the pool deck to the promenade.
  • Family Fun & LEGO® Experiences – Including the LEGO® Family Game Show and LEGO® Parade, alongside tech-driven games, parties, and quizzes.
  • Unforgettable guest acts – a regular variety of guest acts on each cruise, including a line up of leading UK Comedians and resident musicians.

 

Guests can also enjoy the futuristic Starship Club with the first humanoid robotic bartender at sea, four pools, an onboard waterpark, a full-service spa, and kids’ clubs, making it a popular choice for families and couples alike.

 

This summer, MSC Virtuosa is sailing from Southampton on a mix of 7- and 14-night itineraries to Northern Europe and the Iberian Coast, with ports including Cádiz, Lisbon, Palma de Mallorca and Barcelona. The ship will also visit Madeira and the Canary Islands later in the summer, followed by a limited number of sailings to the Norwegian Fjords.

 

A 12-night sailing departing from Southampton on 9 August 2025 to the Iberian Coast, Canary Islands, and Madeira is available from £1,329. A 7-night sailing to the Norwegian Fjords, departing from Southampton on 30 August 2025, is available from £969.
