Journalism icons to lecture with Windstar

Windstar Cruises is to offer its passengers the chance to grill media icons Tina Brown and Sir Harold Evans on its Christmas and New Year Caribbean sailings.
Brown is best known for editing Vanity Fair and the New Yorker but also wrote the best-selling book The Diana Chronicles and will talk on this subject during her lectures.
Evans, who was knighted for his services to journalism, was editor of The Times and The Sunday Times and was a founding editor of Conde Nast Traveler in the US.
He is also an author and his book “They Made America: The Centuries of Innovators from the Steam Engine to the Search Engine” will be the backbone of his lectures.
The pair will sail on the fleet’s luxury Wind Surf ship departing December 19 and 26, 2010.
The December 19 cruise departs from Bridgetown, Barbados and visits Pigeon Island, St Lucia; Îl des Saintes, FWI; St Barts, FWI; Marigot, St Martin; and St Kitts, FWI before arriving back into Barbados.
The New Year sailing departs from Bridgetown, Barbados and visits Mayreau, The Grenadines; St George’s, Grenada; Bequia, The Grenadines; Portsmouth, Dominica; and Pigeon Island, St Lucia.
