12 Days of Christmas TSA-style

Friday, 03 Jan, 2013 0

Bob Burns’ TSA blog reports that after a Christmas travel week that saw the agency confiscate a box of "Jingle Bells Shotgun Shells" (Christmas lights designed out of old shotgun shells), the boys and girls at the front lines of aviation security have collected a veritable 12 Days of Christmas list of live and inert weaponry.

The list includes:

Four grenades in carry on bags at Salt Lake City, Harlingen, Tampa and Miami

Six grenades in checked bags at Dallas/Fort Worth, Albuquerque and Gulfport

Three saw blades taped to the inside of an iPad case at Washington Dulles and 11 stun guns stashed away in carry on bags around the country.

No partridges, pear trees or turtle doves were mentioned.
