13 Britons killed as Bahrain boat capsizes
Foreign secretary Jack Straw has confirmed that at least 13 Britons were among 57 people who died when passenger boat capsized off Bahrain.
The boat was believed to be carrying around 180 people and 67 were pulled from the water after it sank, according to BBC reports.
An investigation into the sinking was announced today amid suggestions of overcrowding on the dhow-like vessel which overturned less than a mile off the coast.
