Fred Olsen Travel was among 38 companies that failed to renew their ATOLs by the CAA’s September 30 deadline.
However, Fred Olsen has since renewed its licence and a CAA spokesman said it was in the process of renewing licences for others on the list.
The CAA stressed failure to renew did not necessarily mean it had any concerns about the finances of any of the 38 businesses.
All the companies listed had applied to renew their licences, it said, but they had not done so by midnight on Wednesday.
""In some cases the CAA has yet to reach a decision on their application, in others the CAA has decided to grant the application from the date on which the firm provides the items required to grant the renewal," said the Authority.
Those who had not yet renewed their licences are not able to sell ATOL-protected packages until a new ATOL is granted, said the CAA.
The ATOLs of a further 57 companies have expired after they failed to apply for renewals. Both lists have been published on the ATOL website.
