A travel website or propaganda?
North Korea has launched a travel website aimed at attracting international visitors, even though the country has banned foreigners entering due to fears of importing the Ebola virus.
Dprktoday.com is entirely in Korean, making it difficult for the vast majority of foreigners to read, leading some to speculate on the precise purpose of the website.
It contains bizarre imagery highlighting the communist country’s various attractions, including a pyramid-themed water park, some rockets and two photos of …a dog.
Yonhap News, based in South Korea, said the site was aimed at foreign tourists, but it appears to be largely propaganda put out in support of the country’s dictator leader, Kim Jong-Un.
