It gives Qantas passengers additional options when transiting Los Angeles and Dallas/Fort Worth for flights to Lihue, Kona and Maui in Hawaii, San Antonio, Tampa, Richmond, Tucson and Albuquerque.
"Our expanded codeshare relationship with American Airlines makes travel more convenient for Qantas customers connecting onwards from Los Angeles and Dallas/Fort Worth. We are focused on delivering more choices, easier connections and a better overall travel experience," said Qantas executive manager international sales, Stephen Thompson.
"Qantas customers now have access to over 130 codeshare city pairs across North America, Canada and Mexico from our Los Angeles and Dallas gateways, more opportunities to earn frequent flyer points and have their luggage checked straight through to their final destination."
