ABTA announces new board
ABTA has announced that following recent elections there are six new members on its Board of Directors.
They are:
Sue Biggs from Kuoni
Alan Cornish from Corona Holidays, London
Andrew Dickson from St Andrews Travel Centres
David Dingle from P&O Cruises International
Doreen McKenzie from Knock Travel of Northern Ireland, and
Neil Taylor from Regent Holidays
The remaining twelve on the board have been re-elected from last year.
Next week ABTA’s board of directors will vote on who will succeed Stephen Bath (pictured) as ABTA president. The candidates are Sandy MacPherson from Voyager Travel, John Harding from Travelscene, and Gwynn Hughes, who was until recently executive vice president of corporate development at P&O Princess Cruises.
According to ABTA regulations, Stephen Bath has to step down from the post after three years as president.
