ABTA opens up full registration for Tenerife Convention
Full registration for the ABTA Travel Convention in Tenerife is now open.
The event is being held between November 28 and 30 at the Magma Arts & Congress Centre in Costa Adeje.
ABTA claims that pre-registration, which opened on May 1, saw double the number of delegates registering in the first two weeks, with over 50% of registrations coming from senior managers.
Of the 200 free rooms allocated just for travel agents, 84 have also already been filled through competitions held at STEPS and the ABTA TalkingTravel events in the spring.
Agents hosted by Youtravel.com, Fred.Olsen and Somewhere2stay.com, will also benefit from some of the free rooms.
“We are very pleased with the way this year’s Convention is developing. We are inviting delegates from across the travel industry, but have ensured that we will have strong attendance from our core membership,” said Mark Tanzer, ABTA chief executive.
The Travel Convention this year has a new identity, a new format, and a new website.
This year, delegates will be able to book their preferred choice of accommodation as part of their registration.
The Convention accommodation is split between three Zones: Zone A – Adeje; Zone B – Puerto Colón; and Zone C – Arona.
