Abu Dhabi partners with UK travel firms
Abu Dhabi tourism has inked a raft of tourism marketing partnerships with key travel brands.
The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) signed 10 joint marketing programmes (JMPs) to tourism sector growth.
The agreements will focus on boosting visitation from Europe.
Abu Dhabi has an ambitious goal of attracting more than 24 million visitors this year.
DCT Abu Dhabi entered into new agreements with On the Beach, Trailfinders, Destination 2, Kenwood Travel, Voyage Prive and Spanish firm El Corte Ingles.
Saleh Mohamed Al Geziry, Director General for Tourism, Abu Dhabi, said: “These agreements support and strengthen our relationships with valued partners to welcome more travellers to Abu Dhabi.
“The UK is a priority market for Abu Dhabi and we are committed to exploring new opportunities.”
In addition, existing agreements were extended with Expedia, Lastminute.com, Amadeus, and Dnata, following successful collaborations in 2023.
