Accommodation firms signs for dynamic packaging technology
Apartments Abroad has become one of the first operators to feature on Micros Travel’s upgraded SABS Agent booking system.
The new system enables agents to simultaneously search and book dynamic packages, specifying exactly which components are required.
The addition of Apartments Abroad gives agents access to more than 20,000 apartments, villas, hotels, farmhouses and other properties in the accommodation-only specialist’s portfolio which covers more than 100 countries.
Properties can then be married to flights sourced from a variety of airlines together with car hire, transfers and attraction tickets
SABS is used on over 10,000 desktops and also forms the basis of the new Advantage Travel Centres’ booking portal and the Worldspan Viewdata Select product.
Apartments Abroad managing director Ian Thirlwall said: “SABS Agent delivers to the desktop tailor-made, simultaneously sourced search results which can greatly assist an agent in adding value to their service.â€
In addition to SABS Agent, the company’s offerings can be accessed via the CSI Travelberry Elite Desktop, Multicom, Topdog and Traveltek desktop systems.
Agents have free XML feeds and white label connectivity to the apartmentsabroad.com site so they can provide accommodation search and booking facilities on their own sites.
