Accor back on the road to Mandalay
Accor is returning to Myanmar with plans for three newly built hotels – an MGallery hotel in Naypyidaw, Novotel Yangon Max, and Novotel Mandalay Mingalar.
The 168-room MGallery hotel in the heart of Naypyidaw, Myanmar’s new capital city, will be the city’s first international brand hotel when it opens this year.
In Yangon, the country’s former capital, the 366-room Novotel Yangon Max will be completed by the end of 2013.
Novotel Mandalay Mingalar, a newly built 280-room hotel, is scheduled to open in in 2015.
Mandalay is located 716 km north of Yangon on the east bank of the Irrawaddy River and is the second-largest city in Myanmar.
